Chapter 33: Wholesalers and Retailers
After Sakakibara and Rey's family—the royal family and the House of Marquis Castiano—officially announced their support for the Dawnmoon Brigade, merchants from all over the royal capital began visiting the brigade's team house almost daily.
Considering that until then, the brigade captain Saioji had personally gone out to negotiate with business partners, the impact of this new contract was immeasurable. As a result, some adventurer teams hired dedicated merchants and conducted business directly to avoid guild commissions. After all, whether buying or selling, profits shrank whenever too many intermediaries became involved.
My role was to act as the brigade's dedicated merchant, selling materials and purchasing necessary supplies without going through the guild.
